Elkhorn Stables is hiring one person for the 2025 summer season. The opportunity will last from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. We are looking for someone with

• Strong horsemanship skills
• Strong customer service skills
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Providing top care for our herd of 35 horses
• Saddling/unsaddling
• Grooming
• Feeding twice daily and watering
• Cleaning stalls
• General maintenance (i.e. fence repairs)
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

The individual we are looking for should be comfortable taking our guests on guided trail rides through the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and comfortable answering all kinds of questions from people around the world. We are looking for a driven individual who understands and has a deep respect for our area, horses, and the cowboy way of life. 

This is a no-party ranch. There are also no pets, no outside horses, and no drama. 

We offer competitive weekly pay, substantial tips, a family atmosphere, housing, BBQ lunches/food/snacks, and we are only 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park.
